I am absolutely obsessed with these liquid leggings from Hooked On You! Not only are they beautiful, but surprisingly comfortable and very easy to clean as well.

I thought that they would be difficult to put on, but I didn't have one bit of trouble. Since the leggings are very bold, I kept the rest of my outfit simple with a graphic white crop top and my red polka dot loafers.

I also kept the accessories simple as well. When you have a piece this perfect, you don't need to overdo anything.

Thank you Jessica

Ingrid :)

Love Kimono, Love Colour

Bright and beautiful. Soft, silky and Kimono comfortable. Paradise, Fiesta and Marina... not just for indoors, they look amazing over swimwear too!

I love colour and as an artist I'm not afraid to use it, the brighter the better! Colour brightens up our day, makes us feel happy and can empower us!

Have you ever noticed how a dull outfit can look amazing with the addition of a bright and colourful handbag, shoes and accessories? and lipstick? especially the power of red, can transform one's appearance to, "wow!" "who me?" "yes, you!"

Have a little fun and add a little colour to your day. :)

Which one is your favourite?

Silver Suspender Lava Leggings

I have just finished sewing these and I'm liking them a little more than the gold lava leggings, but that's my personal taste as I've always leaned towards wearing silver!

My suspender rings are so easy to apply and washing the leggings is a breeze because the s r's are detachable.

Silver, gold, gunmetal and black suspender rings. Have a little fun and wear a combination!

Some lava leggings I made a while ago.

Cheers :)

Inside each of these organza's is a rolled up pair of leggings that I stayed up very late to sew.... they're off to their new home in a different country.

Liquid Leggings

Aren't they awesome? perhaps I'm getting a bit carried away, haha!  I couldn't believe such a fabric existed and I couldn't wait to sew these gorgeous leggings.

The fabric is a super shiny polyester/elastaine, which has an intense shine due to it's unique PVC coating.
The underside is a flat satin texture and I have been assured you will not feel suffocated in them and they're super stretchy.

They are so shiny, I can just make out my own reflection.

Now I will say because they are PVC coated, it involves a little effort to put these on, but it's so worth it!

Please contact me at if you have any questions, or would like to place an order. All I need is your height, waist, hip, upper thigh and ankle measurements and the price is US $50.

Stretch Lace Leggings

I have just finished these silver and black leggings. There's just something about lace and it's good to see it's so popular!

These leggings are quite delicate, so I wouldn't recommend wearing accessories that could pull a thread!

composition: 60% nylon 35% poly 5% spandex and has a two way stretch.
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent.

They are available for US $49 and are available in extra small to extra large. Send me an email if you would like a pair or have a question.

Please excuse the sofa!

I would love some feedback!

Hooked On You leggings - by Ingrid Rosemeyer

This is what I've been working on, my latest creation with a new twist... Suspender rings!
This fabric is awesome, slightly velvety shiny gold and mat black. I've called them Lava Gold!

For those of you that haven't been following my blog, I've replaced suspender clips with removable and changeable suspender rings, that are available in gold, black, silver and gunmetal.

Washing the leggings is a breeze, just detach the suspender rings and wash in cold water!

Would like this to be of a realistic person, but unfortunately no-one was around at the time! The mannequin is wearing 4 gold suspender rings, also looks great with 3 gold and 1 black - take a look at the photo below.

3 gold (the other 2 are at the back) and 1 black!

I would love some feedback.

Kind regards
Ingrid :)

Some things are worth the wait...

A little while ago I mentioned there would be a video. I've had a couple of meetings with the photographer and it is going to happen. He divides his time between Los Angeles and Adelaide and other location shoots he is sent to, so my video will be worth the wait.
His photographic artwork is amazing and I like to paint, so being a visual and artistic person, I presented all my ideas in picture form to him and we have decided to do something very artistic, so no surprise in that!

In the meantime, I'm working with some amazing fabric and making leggings. I know it appears I've digressed from lingerie, but the leggings also play a part in Hooked On You and you'll see why soon!

I was thinking about a name for my 'so many cirles' leggings, because that's exactly what I said when I first saw the fabric!

I was thinking I might call them Oolala leggings! Maybe someone can come up with a better name?

Ingrid :)

When I saw this fabric I had to have it!
It's a two toned gold print on stretch crimped velvet. The fabric made these leggings a little tricky to put together, but worth the effort and the hidden elastic waist gives them that sleek look all the way down to the ankles.

Please let me know what you think?

If anyone is interested in a pair please email me,

I just finished sewing these. They're so soft and feel amazing on... perhaps teamed with a simple black top, bandeau or a long, loose flowing chiffon top.

Composition is 90% polyester & 10% spandex

No elastic waist seams... sorry they're a little blurry!

And while I'm working, I'm being watched!
by Lucy!

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I'm working on something very different and look forward to showing you very soon! :)

p.s. all the leggings are US $49

I made these lycra leggings and showed them to a friend of mine and she loved them and the very next day she picked them up and had them in her hot little hand. The hidden elastic makes these leggings look sleek all the way down. The vivid fluorescent colours really stand out and the sparkly bits really twinkle in the sunlight.

Sorry, I only have one pair left, in a small size, $49. So if anyone is interested please email me at

The hidden elastic makes the leggings look sleek all the way down.
I am waiting for more amazing fabric to arrive, so stay posted.

I made these lycra leggings with hidden elastic a while ago and if anyone is interested in ordering a pair please email me,  $49

Next week I'll be presenting something very new, something that's never been done before..... sorry, you'll have to wait!

It's just past 2.00am, so for me it's off to bed. :)

Keeping It Real With Photoshop

Whether we like it or not Photoshop is here to stay and as with everything in life there needs to be a healthy balance and in my opinion models that have been over altered by photoshop are not sending out a fair message.

Not every woman is confident with their body image and as visual beings we are being seduced by photoshopped images that can mess with our perception of reality.

Excessive photoshopping makes it virtually unimaginable for women to feel good about the way they look when they are comparing themselves to models who don't even look like themselves.

Magazines encourage us to look the best we can, be healthy, be fit and promise us all the products they endorse will do wonders for us. We are bombarded with images of picture perfect skin, larger eyes, smaller noses, altered tiny waistlines and longer slimmer legs and it's all false.

Do the magazines care about false advertising? I don't think so! They and the marketers are laughing all the way to the bank! They recreate their own unrealistic version of perfection and whether we admit it or not, some of us at some point go out and strive to be that beautiful.

For the past 10 years I have witnessed someone close to me painfully battle body image and a daily, ongoing eating disorder and I will not allow the size and shape of our models at Hooked On You to be physically altered.

It's up to us to empower young women with a realistic perception of their body image!

I was delighted today to see American Eagle feature their Aerie line using untouched, natural models.

American Eagle Abandons Photoshop For New Lingerie Campaign

Aerie real campaign
American Eagle has ditched PhotoShop for its latest lingerie ad campaign.
The latest ads for the Aerie line feature models without airbrushing — tattoos and all.
“We left beauty marks, we left tattoos, what you see is really what you get with our campaign,” brand representative Jenny Altman told Good Morning America.
Altman said American Eagle wants to promote more realistic standards for its teenage customers.
While the models are still very thin, imperfections are visible.
Here are some images:

Seriously? I'm lost for words!

Thank you and goodnight
